Hello fellow Team X2O members and Xoomites,
It's so nice to see this site growing so nicely. With so much diversity, and so many of you giving your insights and experiences. Exciting stuff for sure.
I would like to take a moment to speak frankly with you about what I have come to realize are the cold hard facts that each of us face.
1) The sad part is that in reality 90% of you statistically, yes I said statistically will not last more than 60 days in your home based MLM business.
2) Most will not make more than a few dollars if any.
3) Most will ultimately give up and walk away defeated. Back to the J.O.B. (my definition Just Over Broke). Never achieving what they had hoped for. And looking to place blame on everyone and anything but themselves.
I must admit that sounds like doom and gloom, it did to me as I was writing it, However it's all too true. So in the next few sentences and moments I'd like to share some simple but powerful thoughts and insights that could save you and your business. And it's all tied to 3 simple letters....
Once you IDENTIFY and become TRULY PASSIONATE about these 3 letters there will be no limit to the amount of success you can achieve.
These 3 letters are your WHY!! Your may be thinking or saying come on Elise how can my WHY make that big of a difference? Let me give you a simple illustration:
Imagine your standing in front of a brick wall, and on the other side waiting for you is $20 dollars. There is no way to get to the $20 except going through that wall. If I told you you had 10 minutes to get through the wall and it was yours to keep. How passionate would you be, and what would you be willing to do to get it?
Now imagine the same scenario except there is $2,000,000 dollars on the other side of the wall. Changes everything right? You see the only thing that changed in this illustration was what was waiting for you on the other side.
With that being said, can you see how your WHY sets the bar for what you are willing to do to get the desired goal in your life or business. It's literally what keeps you keeping on. Once you establish a true reason WHY, internalize it, and become passionate about it, SUCCESS is inevitable for you.
Now many of you may not have a WHY that you are truly passionate about. That needs to change immediately because when that changes everything tied to it changes. Others need to just raise the carrot like in the example above to fuel your passion.
If your WHY doesn't make you cry, it's not big enough!!!
One other thing I believe is worth mentioning, is that generally money is NEVER a good reason WHY. Most who define money as their reason why will never achieve it. My number one reason Why without getting into the fine details was to be able to spend as much time with my children while they were growing up as possible. To be able to participate in all their sporting events, field trips, school events etc... Also so I could buy my Mom her first brand new car of her choice. To be able to vacation with my family when I want to, and where I wanted to. It has to be something much more than just I want to make lot's of money. Be very definitive with lot's of detail when establishing your WHY.
