Four Steps to Success
 
It is both exciting and frustrating to realize just how simple MLM and sharing word of  the World's Most Perfect Water (X2O) is. Yet without instant success, people become quickly discouraged, they blame others and/or the company/upline, and they spend money  needlessly on unproven advertising schemes ( if they were proven to work, they would not be affordable by the masses.)
 
Instead, consider telling a friend or stranger who is 10x more interested than we want to believe. Ask your Team Leaders for free, quality leads (inquire for details.)
 
Let's make an effort this season to  return to the basics, rethink our list of (4) $100 front-line members, and reach out to our community and over-looked friends with the Four Steps to Success.
 
 
Four Steps to Success
 
The four steps to success in our home-based business are: 
 
1.) The Exposure Step
        (use your bottle, fliers, cards, brochures, letters, samples, etc.)

2.) The Presentation Step
        (demonstrate with your bottle/X2O.)

3.) The 3rd Party Validation Step
        (use frequently the names and phones of your Team Leaders and Ron Howell.)

4.) The Close
        (add the Fast-Start within the week or next.)
 
This is not difficult... and yet, many of us overlook the simplicity and power of this simple formula.
 
The most successful and highest paid home-business entrepreneurs EVER use and teach the Four Steps to Success formula. It works.
 
You must tell prospective members about Xooma on an on-going basis. Never, ever stop if you wish to become successful and reach your goals. It's that simple. 
 
Why then do so many new distributors join our business, order some product, tell a few friends/family members about Xooma/X2O and then cool off? Could it be that nobody teaches them this formula and the steps within it?
 
Most training programs we have see within our industry are either so complex or so self-serving that most new home-business owners fail.  They become disenchanted and either join another program or quit altogether. 
 
This should not happen. We must all do our part in helping others understand this simple business and how it works. Pass this on to your new business partners.
 
Maybe those who succeed in MLM are special; I don't know. But I often think about how easy sharing X2O is because:
  • People are curious. 
  • People are excitable.
  • People love extra money. 
  • People want to live longer.
  • People want to feel GREAT!
  • People want to be in-the-know. 
  • People want to do and try new things .
  • People want to do and try new things first.
People are starving to be sold (whether they know it or not.) The "newest and the latest" interests everyone. It's our nature; we are shopping machines. And yes, that includes both sexes. And you know what is funny? These natural-born salespeople we hear about have been proven to be the biggest suckers of all! Selling is EASY, EASY, EASY...it's interacting with people that puts up the road block.
 
Turn "sales talk" into "people talk" and see how easy it becomes. Take at look at this conversation that develops after a few introductory sentences that would perk the attention of most anyone these days:

1.)  The Exposure Step
 
" HI Sally/Sam, how are you and the gang doing? Aren't you loving these gas and grocery prices? And Christmas is already so near-- imagine that. We spent way more than we planned this summer on a vacation and swim camp for the children. Whew!
 
But still, people are making a LOT of money these days. I've recently met the nicest people who are making $10,000 - $100,000 a month at home with just their PC-- some just have a cell phone. It makes my head spin --can you imagine $100,000 a month? These internet moms/dads with rag-to-riches stories you hear about are really true. And I'm meeting more of them every day.
 
You'll never guess what? I've started my own home business, too. I know--me--of all people! But I'm really doing well with it.  I'm having a ball, and I've already made all my money back.
 
[Really? That's great! Uh, what is it exactly?]
 
Do you really mind if I tell you a little about it, or would you just like to talk about it later?  (pull back and they may be more interested.)
 
[Sure, go on.]
 
Oh! And did I tell you? I'm going on a cruise in October. It's paid for by the company... we're so ready! While in Mexico,  I'm going to  spend some time talking one-on-one with Ron Howell. Have you read about him anywhere? He's the founder of this business. He is so brilliant, and super nice.
 
Add a couple of  "buzz/ sizzle statements":
 
-An old friend I really trust in insert state  just started this same business-- it really took off!
 
-This is going to change everything about making people feel GREAT again!
 
-I feel wonderful; the best I have felt in years!  
 
-The friend who helped me get started knows the corp. owners personally. 
 
-I have a good friend who is on the Advisory Board for the company.
 
-Hardly anyone knows about it. 
 
-This has taken off so fast that it reminds  me of those unique TV products that millions of people instantly buy.
 
-The level of excitement I'm seeing in people is incredible.
 
-I feel so blessed. Finally.. I have gotten in with the right people at the right time!
 
 -Even my husband/wife is totally sold, and you know how skeptical John/Jane is.
 
[WHAT IS IT, ALREADY? TELL ME!]
 
I'm sorry; I've just been really excited lately.  It's already growing so fast just around insert your city  that soon I will not possibly be able to do it all alone. I want to expand with 4 really-good-people to help me full or part time.
 
Hey, isn't Beth going off to college next year?  You'd have the time for this and the money would be a big help. 
 
 
2.)  The Presentation Step
 
OK... Sally/Sam, what is something that every human on the planet should have about 8-a-day of, and will die  without it in 3-5 days ?
 
[I get it..it's water!  You're selling water?]
 
Not exactly--it's much better! But keep in mind that the whole world is a customer because all people drink water.

Do you see now why the timing of this is just right. I can't believe I've met all these successful people who I am now good friends with. They'll all help you, too!
 
 
4.)  The Close
